An old family recipe passed down from my Granny to my mom, and now to me.
2 sticks margarine
1 cup water
4 TBS cocoa
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 ggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
Boil the margarine and water. Remove from hear and add all the remaining ingredients. Pour into an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 350 for 20 minutes.Once cake in cooled spread frosting on top (recipes below).

6 TBS milk
1 lb powder sugar (about 4 cups)
1 tsp vanilla
Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. While still warm pour over cake.
